GINOP PLUSZ-1.2.1-21 application

Project title: Development of a metal furniture and accessory manufacturing factory

Project ID: GINOP_PLUSZ-1.2.1-21-2021-00039

Beneficiary name: KAP Processing Producer and Service Limited Liability Company

Project summary: The aim of the project is to establish a metal furniture and accessory manufacturing factory, which typically targets the company's existing market but also opens up the opportunity to conquer new territories. With the equipment to be acquired, practically every type of metal furniture and accessory can be produced. These tools are the latest pieces of technology available, making it easy to achieve a unique look for both indoor and outdoor metal furniture. These furniture and accessories are typically made of treated steel plates, ranging from 0.5 to 3 mm, depending on the order, function, and pattern. The target market for the manufactured products is wide-ranging, as such products can be used in any office building, private house, public area, hotel, industrial facility, studio, or restaurant. The company intends to implement the project using the latest computer-controlled laser technology. A high-precision laser cuts the patterns and shapes, which is more precise than any current solution and, not least, is faster. A 5.1 kW system that the project intends to install would cover part of the energy requirements for the equipment to be acquired. The advantages of the technology are as follows:

- Completely environmentally friendly
- With the help of design software, processing is fast, accurate, and versatile
- Unit costs are the same for manufacturing one piece as they are for manufacturing thousands of pieces
- The entire manufacturing process can be tracked with the help of appropriate software
- All equipment communicates with each other and the server over the internet
- A delivery deadline of up to 24 hours can be accepted
- The price of the product and the revenue can be easily calculated
- The operating costs are low due to the modern equipment, well-trained workforce, and wide range of product applications, which fundamentally determines    the project's market advantage and position.

Therefore, every element of the current  is necessary for the project. From the perspective of employees, both administration, sales, and the work of engineers are essential factors. From the perspective of employees, both administration, sales, and the work of engineers are essential factors. However, the new production unit will create a minimum of 16 new jobs (assuming two 6-hour shifts and a 5-day workweek). Therefore, the company's goal during the project is to retain, preserve, and strengthen the current workforce while also expanding it with new job opportunities. As part of the project, the company plans to use leadership and management consulting/development services. This is done in order to align the - relatively large - capacity expansion with the organizational structure. In addition, some individuals receive assertive communication training to make the most of the communication channels used by the company. In addition to the quality management system, the available business cloud service provides a good opportunity. The enterprise resource planning system to be acquired in the project will help coordinate company processes.

KAP Processing Ltd. has been awarded a conditionally non-refundable grant of HUF 180.45 million from the European Regional Development Fund within the framework of the Economic Development and Innovation Operational Program Plus (GINOP PLUSZ-1.2.1-21-00039) to implement a new project. The project involves the establishment of a new, modern factory in Mórahalom, Csongrád-Csanád county, which is expected to meet the needs of domestic and international customers in the market for indoor and outdoor metal furniture and accessories. As a result of the investment, which is being carried out under the Széchenyi Plan Plus program, 16 new jobs will be created.

As part of the investment, KAP Processing Ltd. will acquire modern, computer-controlled precision machines. The development enables the company to manufacture its own products that were previously produced by outsourcing, with higher quality, a wider product range, and more cost-effective technology.

The technology used is completely environmentally friendly, energy-efficient compared to similar technologies, and enables extremely flexible use and operation.

In addition to equipment procurement, the project also includes consultancy services, the introduction of a corporate management system, and the installation of a solar panel system.
